We welcome for one more year, the new scholarship aircraft engineers on their first day

14 October 2024

Mr. Dimitris Gerogiannis, CEO AEGEAN, and the Program Director Mr. Aristeidis Oikonomou welcomed, for one more year, the new scholarship aircraft engineers on their first day at the Olympic Air Maintenance Training Organization, where they will start their studies in order to obtain their degree. Among the new scholarship engineers were graduates in mechanical and electrical engineering, business administration students, and young high school graduates. Their love for engineering, airplanes, and traveling were some of the reasons that motivated them to participate in AEGEAN’s engineering scholarship program and to obtain a Professional Engineering Degree, while also ensuring their immediate employment in the company.

For 25 years, AEGEAN has remained committed to its development, investing, among other things, in education and infrastructure, thus creating an incubator for talent both for the company and for the country in general. It is worth noting that a few months ago, AEGEAN opened the doors of its new technical base, which has the capacity to perform heavy maintenance and repairs on aircraft with up to 12 maintenance, repair, and technical inspection positions for various types of aircraft.
