The purpose of this course is to to provide detailed description, operation, component location, removal / installation and bite and troubleshooting procedures to Aircraft Maintenance Manual level.
In addition to the information contained in the Level I General Familiarization at the completion of this Level III Line and Base Maintenance training, the trainee will be able to:
• Perform system, engine, component and functional checks as specified in the Aircraft Maintenance Manual.
• Correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect of fault diagnosis and rectification to Aircraft Maintenance Manual level.
• Describe procedures for replacement of components unique to aircraft type.
